Christie's is offering a 56.12-carat, heart shaped, D colour, Internally Flawless diamond at its upcoming jewellery sale in Geneva. Less than a handful of diamonds over 50 carats have appeared at auction in the last 20 years and this one also belongs to the elite Type IIA category of diamonds confirming it as exceptionally white. It will be sold on May 18 when it is expected to fetch $9,000,000-12,000,000.
